The vertical diptych caught my attention the most because of the format. It made the imagery more alluring. I can let you know more of my comments later.

I find the most interesting parts of these paintings to be the relationship between positive and negative space particularly in the shadows. Wayne Thiebaud came to mind with your use of color, shadow and value. I am most drawn to the images with angles and would love to see more images with subjects/positives that were angular like the books. Symmetry vs. asymmetry?
